Q:Preston Sturges? Hal Ashby?
Sturges: The Lady Eve
Ashby: Bound for Glory (I love Woody Guthrie! ^_^)
Q:Favorite Paul Thomas Anderson? David Lean?
I haven’t watched anything by PTA *hangs head in shame* :(
David Lean, oh boy, quite a few of his are favorites of mine. I’d have to go with Lawrence of Arabia as my absolute favorite because it is a masterpiece and I have a lot of fond memories attached to that film (including watching most of the it while perched on a rocking horse I pretended was a camel as a kid ^_~)

“Dood van een Schaduw” (2012), dir. Tom Van Avermaet, was probably my favorite of the 2012 Oscar nominated short films (I loved all of them with the exception of “Henry”). I mean of course I would love something with a WWI setting that has a touch of the supernatural ^_~
